Alabama Chicken Linguine Bubba Gump Recipes

Hello, today I would like to present you with a warm and cozy meal, which had been in my mind since the first time I had it in Bubba Gump. Bubba Gump Alabama Chicken Linguine.

It was so simply grilled chicken breast, linguine, cream sauce, grape tomatoes, parmesan cheese and garlic bread, which is listed in the early-bird menu.

But the tastes were richer and more home-cooked and somehow southern in a wonderful Alabama way that lingers.

I really wanted to recreate that memory in my kitchen and that is why I am telling you about it in that same conversational tone I cook every day.

Let us not jump into it, however, and as we all like to pass by a little sketch, we have the following.

Hi, My Name is Mayank. I am a professional cook, and I enjoy preparing meals in the presence of my friends and family members.

My relative describes me as a pro chef since I prepare delicious meals to all of us. Friends asked me Why are you not on social media I thought and spent 10 minutes and wrote an article in Google.

Ok, that being said, now it is time to go into my kitchen together and prepare this gorgeous pasta, just like I did it at home based on the flavor hints in the reference menu.

It is smooth and cozy, rather gourmet without being too sophisticated to make at a weekday dinner. Well, I like such food very much.

This meal starts with grilled chicken that gives a smoky, slightly burnt flavor that will be so good with a cream sauce.

In Bubba Gump, it is only linguine, grape tomatoes, and parmesan cheese, and, as any domestic chef would know, the simple does not make it dull.

Rather, it translates to every ingredient being salient and that is what I want to achieve in this rendition.

The essence here is the cream sauce. I prepare it with butter, garlic, cream and a bit of broth hence is not very heavy.

The parmesan is melted in the sauce and occasionally I happen to add a pinch of Cajun seasoning due to feeling that Bubba Gump is finding that little southern kick into their food even when it is not on the menu.

Everything is livened with the fresh burst of grape tomatoes which cuts the richness of the sauce.

And then there is the garlic bread. Bubba Gump puts their pastas on the side with a slice of garlic bread and I tell you it is the perfect touch.

I never under-toast my own, it comes out golden-brown, and I have no scruples against plunging it in the sauce.

Equipment

I understand that equipment list is a way of maintaining the kitchen calm and so here is the list of equipment that I used when cooking this dish at home.

  • Pot large – to boil the linguine.
  • Medium skillet – used to grill chicken.
  • Saucepan – to prepare the cream sauce.
  • Tongs – to invert chicken and stir pasta.
  • Cutting board – to cut chicken and tomatoes
  • Cutting board – cut up chicken and tomatoes.
  • Chef cutlery- to do all the chopping.
  • Wooden spoon – used to stir the sauce.

Ingredients

I combined these to fit in the description of the restaurant as well as ensuring that the taste is well-rounded and not deficient in a home kitchen.

The quality of the food is also better and so is the quality of the ingredients involved in this food.

How to Make Alabama Chicken Linguine Bubba Gump

Here I always feel like taking things easy. I envision a time when I will be in your kitchen, preparing some food with you step by step.

Step 1: Salt, pepper and Cajun seasoning of the chicken breasts: It is always a good idea to season the chicken breasts with a bit of salt, pepper and Cajun seasoning which adds a little southwestern spice, as I like.

Heat oil in a skillet and fry the chicken on both sides taking 6-7 minutes on each side until it is golden and cooked. Set it aside to rest.

Step 2: Boil a large pot of salty water. Add linguine and cook to the al dente.

Set aside and drain off, reserving a small amount of pasta water in case you will need it later to loosen the sauce.

Step 3: Melt butter in medium heat in a saucepan. Add garlic and fry until fragrant. It is such a welcoming smell that always fills my kitchen with this moment, makes me smile.

Step 4: Add the heavy cream and chicken broth. Allow simmering of the mixture. I continue stirring, as I admire the smoothness of the sauce.

Step 5: Place the grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until it becomes melted in the sauce. Add pasta water, as necessary, and thin.

Step 6: Add grape tomatoes and allow them to heat in the sauce. They need not be reduced to too fine–they only need to be slightly softened and to add some lightness of taste.

Step 7: Put the cooked linguine in the sauce and cover it with it. In a few instances, I pick up the pasta using tongs and stirred because the pasta seems like it is being enveloped in the sauce.

Step 8: Cut the rested grilled chicken and put it directly on top of the pasta that has been cooked in the sauce. Add some additional parmesan to your heart.

Step 9: It should be served with warm garlic bread. Dip-scoop-swirl–it can only be good.

Helpful Tips

  • Do not overcook the chicken, it does not get dry when taken in time.
  • Then add Parmesan gradually in order to keep the sauce smooth.
  • Add salt to the water so that the pasta tastes better.
  • Add low heat to cream as it could split.

Notes

Chicken is kept juicy when it is resting. Add more broth in case of reheating creamy pasta the following day. The Garlic bread is a great accompaniment to this dish.

Conclusion

I did enjoy taking you through the recipe of my Alabama Chicken Linguine Bubba Gump reenactment and to be honest I like how hearty and creamy this pasta actually becomes each time I prepare it.

It brings me to thinking of the charm of that early bird menu and I hope you have your share of that little warm touch. I can not wait to see you taste it in your own house and make it your own in your own style.
