  • 200 grams Boneless chicken breast Cut into thin strips
  • 150 grams Shrimp Peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup Broccoli florets Fresh preferred
  • 1 cup Carrots Thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Bell peppers Mixed colors
  • 2 tablespoons Oil For stir frying
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Minced
Sauce Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce Low sodium preferred
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce Optional but authentic
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch For thickening
  • ½ cup Water or chicken stock For sauce base
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar Balances flavor
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper Freshly ground

Equipment

  • 1 Large wok or pan Best for stir frying
  • 1  Cutting board  For chopping
  • 1 Sharp knife For slicing
  • 1 Mixing Bowl For sauce
  • 1 Spatula or wooden spoon For stirring

Method
 

Step 1: Prepare the sauce
  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, sugar, pepper, and water. Keep aside.
Step 2: Cook the chicken
  1. Heat oil in a wok on medium-high heat. Add chicken strips and cook for 4–5 minutes until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
Step 3: Cook the shrimp
  1. In the same pan, add shrimp. Cook for 2–3 minutes until pink. Remove and keep aside.
Step 4: Stir fry vegetables
  1. Add a little more oil if needed. Add garlic and ginger. Sauté for 30 seconds. Add broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers. Stir fry for 3–4 minutes.
Step 5: Combine everything
  1. Add cooked chicken and shrimp back into the pan.
Step 6: Add sauce
  1. Pour in the prepared sauce. Stir continuously until it thickens (about 2–3 minutes).
